Student Analyst, Business Finance & Project Controlling

Blue Power Partners is a global consultancy and project development company dedicated to developing renewable energy.

We are expanding our activities and are looking for a dynamic student who would like to join an international and multicultural environment in downtown Aalborg.

You will join our Global Business Finance & Project Controlling team, whose finest task is to provide financial insight into large-scale renewable projects for our customers worldwide. The insight will be created through transparency, trustworthy communication, and high-quality deliverables.

About the Role
With a role inside the team, you become involved in a variety of projects and have the opportunity to develop and challenge your competencies and knowledge in practice.

Your accountabilities are likely to vary, but your main tasks may include:

• Ad hoc support on multiple project controlling related topics, hereunder budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder management
• Take an active part in the daily operations from a financial and controlling point of view
• Assisting with creating and maintaining reporting tools

We don’t expect you to know everything when you start. We will invest the time you need to fulfill the role. The learning curve will be steep, but you will experience extensive support and development.

We expect you to work 1-2 days per week, with the possibility of adding more hours. It is essential that you take care of your studies, which means we are flexible during exam periods and when facing project deadlines.

Our headquarters in Aalborg (John F. Kennedys Plads) will be your working place.

About You
You are a curious and outgoing individual who uses your passion as daily fuel to make a difference. You are eager to provide high-quality deliverables and a dedicated team player.

Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following experience and skills:

• You are curious about developing and improving existing initiatives.
• You are structured and analytic by nature, and you don’t mind challenging the status quo.
• You have a business mindset with a flair for making theories work in practice.
• Ideally, you just finished your bachelor’s degree or recently started your master's in economics or finance. It could be in management accounting, finance, accounting, economics, etc.
