The position
As a Postdoc you will be responsible for development of new high-throughput screening platforms for screening methods for microbial safety testing for drug product formulation.
This includes participation in cross organizational project and support groups, collaboration with other departments both in CMC DP and Analytical Development and in ASAT, and transfer of analytical methods.
As Postdoc, you will have a variety of responsibilities, such as:
- Analytical assay development
- Setting up dPCR/qPCR and Solid phase cytometry methods
- Method evaluation and comparison
- Optimizing, developing and timely delivery of project analytical needs
- Actively contributing to analytical process improvements and the implementation of digi-tal and automated solutions
The position is a collaboration between Novo Nordisk A/S and Technical University of Denmark.
Qualifications
Ph.D. within microbiology, molecular biology, pharmacy, biomedicine, cell biology, biochemistry or similar.
To succeed in this role, ideally, we expect you have:
- Experience within analytical methods e.g. ddPCR/qPCR, Solid phase cytometry and microbiological methods
- Knowledge of pharmacopeia and compendial methods
- Knowledge of working in a GMP environment
- Basic statistical knowledge
- Can work independently without supervision
- Experience with automatization of analytical methods
- Hands on lab experience
On a personal level, you have excellent communication and the ability to effectively interact with colleagues with a variety of backgrounds. You work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
About the departments
As part of Novo Nordisk ASAT Microbial Competence Center and CMC Bioanalysis makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
In ASAT Microbial Competence Center at the Novo Nordisk site in Gentofte, we develop new methods for microbial safety analysis of drug substance and drug product.
In CMC Bioanalysis at the Novo Nordisk site in Måløv, we develop assays for analysis of cell banks, in process samples, drug substance and drug product samples for the entire Novo Nordisk project portfolio in clinical trials all over the world.
