Job Description:
We are seeking an eager and versatile Sustainability Intern to join our Sustainability team. You will be involved in data collection and exciting projects focused on environmental sustainability. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in sustainability within the textile industry, including data collection and survey conduction related to our carbon accounting platform.
Our team drives sustainability initiatives across the organization and oversees sustainability standards, certifications, processes, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize data from various internal and external sources for carbon accounting system.
- Getting knowledge into the textile supply chain.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct surveys as a part of gathering information.
- Research ESG standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in writing the companies sustainability report and evaluating the development.
- Ad hoc task around ESG, sustainability or corporate responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability/Data Science/Business/Textiles or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about sustainability and ESG principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
