ICEpower is looking for ambitious and responsible student workers to help streamline our PCB Layout
ICEpower A/S is looking for skilled and detail focused electronics students to help maintain the backbone of our PCB Layout. We see a big mutual benefit in training you well and developing your skills, so you should preferably have at least 1½ years left of your study.

You don’t need to be a specialist within layout or any of the tools we use, but you should have a good level of knowhow when it comes to learning and working with computer-based tools (programming, CAD tools, simulation, gaming, audio/video production, etc). The ideal applicant has a good understanding of both electronics and coding, as the work will be split between layout-oriented tasks and developing tools and programs to help streamline the layout process.

A few example tasks:

• Create PCB footprints and schematic symbols according to defined guidelines
• Develop scripts and tools to sort data and streamline layout process
• Comparing real parts with datasheet specifications and dimensions
• PCB layout and layout review

At ICEpower, you get good applicable experience from real-life challenges. You will have responsibility for a set of defined core tasks as well as more demanding tasks according to your skillset and ambition. For the right applicant there could also be openings for study related projects. You are typically expected to work 1-2 days per week; however, we respect periods of big workloads in your study and private life if this is communicated well.

Personal traits and skills we are looking for:

• Ambitious, meticulous, responsible, and eager to learn
• Independent self-driven problem-solving attitude
• Familiar with some PCB design programs, and programming languages such as Python.
• Interest in developing PCB layout skills
• Interest in audio products
