Student assistant for International Department / MENAEE

We are looking for a new student assistant to join our International department / the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe MENAEE team and to support us in our work with programmes across the regions.
YOU WILL
- Update databases, and other information management systems. Help the team gather documents and background materials, perform data analysis and present data in organised and user-friendly ways
- Support the MENAEE team with their work on project applications, financial monitoring, donor reporting and compliance
- Gather documents/background material and information, administrative and logistical tasks,
- Support with ad hoc research assignments
YOUR PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL PROFILE
We expect you to have:
- Experience working with Information management systems and databases
- Confidence in working with Excel and finance systems
- Strong Microsoft skills and familiar with using PowerPoint for presentations and layouts
- Knowledge of international development and/or humanitarian interventions
- Strong writing skills and proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.
- Strong experience performing various types of data analysis and research assignments
- Knowledge of donor compliance and similar regulations
As a person, you have to be solution-oriented, with an independent drive and with strong collaboration skills. And we would love if you have knowledge of or experience from the MENA or the EE regions.
TERMS & RECRUITMENT PROCES
Save the Children Denmark employs a hybrid working model to offer its employees flexibility regarding location of execution of work. Accordingly, as an employee, you can work from home during the week if the work allows it and in agreement with your manager.
You will be employed according to the terms and conditions of the local Collective Agreement between Red Barnet and the relevant unions. You will work 20 hours per week and the hourly wage is 147,58 DKK. A prerequisite for employment is that you are enrolled in a study program.
