The department
Welltec is looking for a motivated accountant trainee to become part of our dynamic accounting team based in Allerød. Our accounting team comprises 10 talented professionals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

In addition to accounting, the finance department is structured into four other specialized teams: Financial Planning & Analysis, Group Reporting, Treasury, and Tax. Together, these teams work cohesively to support the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives

The position
As an Accounting Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while building essential skills in financial management and accounting practices. This role offers a wide-ranging scope, providing you with exposure to various aspects of the accounting function and an opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the team.

You will be actively involved in a combination of regular, recurring tasks and ad hoc assignments, ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience. This blend of responsibilities will not only enhance your understanding of financial operations but also equip you with the practical knowledge needed to excel in your career.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Participating in on-the-job training
• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts accurately
• Perform bank, account, and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records
• Input, update, and verify data in accounting systems with attention to detail
• Supporting team members whenever deemed relevant
