Internship, Commercial Business Development - Aarhus

High inflation, low Consumer Confidence, VUCA World, Cost of Living-crisis… Those are some of the topics we have dealt with the most during the latest months in the Customer & Category Development Team in Arla Denmark. Because we deliver commercial insights, analysis and recommendations for Sales and Marketing, enabling them to deliver value to both Arla and our re-tail and foodservice customers.

How you will make an impact
As Commercial Business Development Intern, you will be working in the Customer & Category Development Team supporting various sales and marketing functions within retail and foodservice.

Your main projects during the internship:

• Deliver market insights based on detailed analyses using various systems and data sources, e.g. macro level tendencies, FMCG market development in general, retail and foodservice sales, promotions, prices, shoppers and consumers.
• Optimizing our existing data sources and provide insights to key stakeholders in our sales and marketing functions.
• Provide detailed analysis of shopper trends and behaviour across our dairy categories to find white spots in the market.
• Ad-hoc tasks, e.g. estimate promotion volume uplifts, create price overviews, create business cases and secure data quality.

As an intern you will assist the Customer and Category Team in retrieving these insights and turning them in to actions.

What will make you successful
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and independent Commercial Business Development In-tern with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to transform insights into commercial actions.

• Your educational background can be within Marketing, International Business, Retail Management or something similar.
• You have a natural flair for numbers and data management - and strong analytical skills
• You have a natural interest in consumers and therefore a broad understanding of the Danish consumer market
• You are a super user in Power Point and Excel
• It is an advantage if you have experience with Power BI
• You are self-driven and can maintain an overview, but at the same time have an eye for de-tails
• You respect deadlines and work hard to meet them
• You are positive, results-oriented, structured and dynamic
• You speak and write English and Danish fluently
