About the role
We are seeking two students to support our digitalization journey, one student within the engineering discipline department, working on process and utility engineering, and one student within automation engineering. You will work closely together with a fellow student, supported by Senior Specialists.
You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues in our Process Systems Intelligence (PSI) area, and the Technology & Trends department. As a team, we play a pivotal role in the design of some of Denmark’s most state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities, focusing on data-driven simulation of processes to evaluate pharma facility design impact.
Your role will be important in supporting this, working with existing live systems in a Proof of Concept, including a digital twin approach, and thereby helping us maintaining our commitment to excellence and innovation.

How you might spend your days
As a student within the Process and utilities engineering, you will be:
- Collaborating with colleagues and senior specialists to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive data analytics and visualisations
- Introducing advanced analytical methods & tools of your choosing to structure, analyse, interpret and provide actionable insights from datasets
- Participating in the development and extension of dashboards, and analytical reports
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of data visualisation and actionable insights
And as a student within the Automation engineering, you will be:
- Collaborating with colleagues and senior specialists to understand Automation system HW- and SW wise and deliver a digital twin of the system
- Introducing advanced simulation SW of your choosing to emulate the physical components in a digital twin
- Participating in the development of method for extracting data from other engineering systems to be able to build digital twins
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and data visualisation and actionable insights

- In your final year of your Bachelor of Science or about to start your Master of Science at a Danish University
- Focused study areas could be Pure or Applied Mathematics applied to mathematical modelling, machine learning, hydraulic and mechanical engineering and calculations etc. or similar
- Interested in translating theory into application
