Internship in Mechanical Engineering

Are you studying a Technical or Mechanical degree, and would you like to spend 5 exciting months in a professionally strong work environment with skilled colleagues who value both humor and informality? Then you might be one of the dedicated interns, we are looking for at ENABL.

As an intern at ENABL Denmark, you become part of one of our dedicated teams in which you can contribute to the development of future equipment for the wind industry. The team consists of three roles: Lead Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and structural Engineers.

We work with design, development, assembly, and service of production-, transport-, and installation equipment for towers, blades, and nacelles.

What you’ll be doing:
You can expect a meaningful workday where you contribute, learn, and truly become an integrated part of our team. As our new intern from Mechanical Engineering, your primary work areas could be a mix of:

• Mechanical idea and concept development
• 3D Design of mechanical constructions
• Preparing of 2D documentation for manufacturing
• Calculation and FE-analysis of mechanical elements & steel structures
• Cross-disciplinary work with Software & Electrical
• Visualizing concepts using 3D printing
• Preparation of Bill of Material
• Cooperation with the workshops

We are looking for interns to join our office locations in Aarhus, Ikast, Hedensted, or Varde. As we aim to provide learning opportunities within your area of professional interest and qualifications, your tasks will be agreed upon and planned with your manager.

What we are looking for:
You are currently studying Mechanical Engineering or similar. You are motivated by learning and are therefore not afraid of new tasks where your structured way of working allows you to maintain an overview and meet deadlines. You enjoy collaborating with your skilled colleagues but also work independently on your own projects. Additionally, you master English and Danish.

We value backgrounds and encourage candidates who are passionate about engineering, even if they do not meet every requirement perfectly!
