Intern within product design of industrial keypads

For our design & project engineering team Mekoprint Graphic Electronics, we are searching for a master student with specialty in industrial design, mechanical engineering or similar, to join us for an internship in the fall of 2025.

Our Graphic Electronics division in Støvring employs more than 100 colleagues in development and manufacturing of customized components for leading electronic and industrial companies worldwide. You will be a part of Mekoprint’s design & project engineering team, consisting of industrial designers from AAU, graphic designers and design engineers. The teams works with design and engineering of HMI solutions, such as keypads, control panels and graphic overlays.

This internship will be a unique chance to work with electronic product design and industrial design of HMI solutions for professional equipment, membrane switch keypads and silicone keypads.

You can look forward to assisting design & project engineering and in creation of:

• Industrial membrane and silicone keypads
• 3D renderings, visualizations and design concepts
• Prototypes in our prototype lab

Also, we will expect you to:

• Participate in ideation workshops.
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Dialogue with our manufacturing partners.

You are curious and eager to learn. You are a team player and have an open and positive mindset. You are good at using new knowledge and experience in your daily work.

Maybe you are experienced in iPad sketching and 3D printing (Flashforge Creator). It would be an advantage if you are familiar with the software: Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator and KeyShot.
