The position
We are offering Student Assistant positions within our engineering departments at our manufacturing site in Hjørring. The responsibilities of a student assistant will vary depending on the department and role. However, you can expect to become an integral team member, with colleagues eager to learn from your perspectives and provide you with valuable insights. You will interact with numerous colleagues within your team, department, and across the organization, managing various stakeholders. Your assignments will be driven by your passion and motivation.
We focus on continuously introducing new methods to optimize our work, becoming data-driven, and achieving a fully automated production plant.
You may have the opportunity to support and explore areas such as:
• Good Manufacturing Practices
• Change control
• LEAN & Agile methodologies
• SOP writing
• Advanced automation & Metrology/Calibration, Advanced Maintenance/Asset Management
Qualifications
As an applicant for the Engineering student assistant position, you are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, such as Marine Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Innovation, or other related fields, with at least 12 months remaining in your studies. Experience or a strong interest in maintenance, asset management, and data analysis will be an advantage. We are looking for Student Assistants who are eager to learn, can manage their time effectively, and have some relevant experience in their field. You must have a valid work permit to work in Denmark and be available to work on-site in Hjørring.
Fluency in English is required, and your CV should be submitted in English.
About the department
At Needle Manufacturing (NM), we oversee the internal assembly and packaging of Novo Nordisk's pen needles and ensure quality control for all pen needles, including those from our external partners. Our Hjørring facility produces pen needles for diabetes, obesity, and rare blood and endocrine disorder products. NM employs approximately 440 people.
Student Assistant Position Details
A Student Assistant role at Novo Nordisk is between 8 – 20 hours per week, with most positions requiring approx. 8 hours on-site in Hjørring. We provide flexibility to meet your educational responsibilities as we recognize the value of your study.
A Danish work permit is necessary and you must be living in Northern Jutland at the time of application.
