Student Assistant Are you a student with a passion for laboratory work and a desire to grow your skills in a hands-on environment? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our production team at Hellerup for 15-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the laboratory. Learn about kidney health, build on current competencies and learn new skills as part of BioPorto’s purpose driven mission. You will be involved in many different tasks supporting our production team and laboratory staff. For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to gain experience with different laboratory techniques: producing buffers, maintaining the cell production as well as being a significant support in our packaging process. You will be part of a highly engaged production team, consisting of four employees and a manager, where we respect each other and the different knowledge/competences we bring to the team. Key responsibilities • • • • • • Production of antibodies, clinical immunoassays, and ELISA kits. Performing inspection of incoming goods. Reviewing production documentation. Updating inventory. Revising production procedures. Developing and optimizing production methods. Your qualifications • • • • • • • Pursuing an education as a B.SC. or higher within engineering, biotechnology or similar relevant field. Knowledge of working in a laboratory. Knowledge of using pipettes and other standard laboratory equipment will be an advantage. Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing in English. Team player who will go the extra mile to help a colleague. Knowledge of GMP is an advantage, but not a requirement. Knowledge/interest in buffer preparation and antibody production and purification is a plus.
