As a Student Assistant in Operations Office in GlobalConnect you will be a key contributor to our ongoing transformation. You will be expected to manage and drive a diverse range of tasks and projects to support our management group.

About the position:
In GlobalConnect’s Operations department, we build and deploy large infrastructure projects as well as operate GlobalConnect’s network. You will be part of the Operations Office, a cross-functional department responsible for management support, PMO and process transformation. Our team consists of two process managers, a PMO manager and a student assistant.

You will have a chance to shape your role as we go, learning new skills and gaining exposure to management processes also emphasizing your ongoing professional development. To get you started, we see you being involved in:

• Preparing presentation material for various management meetings
• Contributing to various annual wheel activities across Operations
• Driving communication activities across Operations
• Assisting in various transformation and change management activities

To thrive in this role, we think you:

• Are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, strategy, finance, communications or the like with at least two years back
• Enjoy creating compelling storylines in Power Point catering for different stakeholders’ needs and with a sharp eye for details
• Possess strong analytical skills turning complex information into valuable insights
• Have knack for structure and curious to develop your skills through active participation
• Have a collaborative mindset and is motivated by engaging with stakeholders

This position requires a commitment of at least 15-20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate exams and other academic commitments.
