Strategic Student Program Spain 2026
Based: Barcelona or Madrid, Spain / Working on-location, Part-time (25 hours per week) / 6 months (1st of March 2026 to 1st of September 2026)

We know that a business only thrives if our people are thriving. That's why we always put our people first. Our global and diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in many ways. Who knows where our joint journey will take you?

Siemens Digital Industry Software – #TransformTheEveryday

Siemens Digital Industries Software’s Simulation unit delivers a powerful and comprehensive portfolio of engineering simulation tools under the Simcenter brand. Our solutions span the full spectrum of simulation technologies—from 1D system simulation to advanced 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), electromagnetics, biomedical simulations, and beyond. These tools empower engineers across industries to design, predict, and optimize performance in the digital world before building in the physical one.

Within the Simulation unit, the Technology Applications team plays a strategic role as expert users of the Simcenter portfolio. We leverage our deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience to influence product development, guide strategic decisions, and support the implementation of new capabilities across our software suite. Our work ensures that Simcenter continues to meet the evolving needs of engineers and innovators worldwide.

This internship will focus specifically on our 1D Systems simulation software offering – Simcenter Amesim. The successful candidate will contribute to testing and improving physics-based modelling in areas such as Aerodynamics & Transport Phenomena, Electrochemistry applications (e.g., battery cell design), and support initiatives related to software performance and our cloud-based simulation offering.
