Hourly-paid Student Assistant with HPLC Experience Neurobiology Research Unit, Neurocenter, Rigshospitalet The Neurobiology Research Unit (NRU) is currently offering a position as an hourly-paid student assistant, to be filled as soon as possible. Your primary responsibility will be the analysis of radioactive tracers and their metabolites in biological samples using radio-HPLC. In addition, the position will involve other minor laboratory tasks, such as handling biobank samples, as well as tasks related to data processing and archiving. The weekly working hours will be up to 8 hours, distributed over 1–3 weekdays. Work may occasionally take place in the afternoon or evening. NRU is an independent research unit within the Department of Brain and Nerve Diseases at Rigshospitalet. The research unit has extensive national and international collaborations and serves as the headquarters for, among other initiatives, the Lundbeck Foundation–funded BrainDrugs research alliance, which focuses on epilepsy and depression. The unit comprises approximately 150 affiliated individuals, half of whom are employees, while the other half are visiting researchers and students conducting projects at the unit. The staff represents a wide range of professional backgrounds, including physicians, molecular biologists, pharmacists, engineers, psychologists, biomedical laboratory scientists, and administrative staff. Our primary research focus is method development and the investigation of biological questions within both basic and clinical brain research.
