Næstved Kommune (Naestved Municipality)

Webmaster of Naestved Municipality's official and primary website http://www.naestved.dk for over 80.000 citizens and the intranet portal for the municipality's thousands of employees.

In addition, I also got the technical responsibility of Naestved Municipality's about 100 websites for campaigns, kindergardens, creches, etc.

I've also got co-responsibilties of Naestved Municipality's Facebook Page.

My function as webmaster includes for example:
  • Coordinating of (further) development of Naestved Municipality's websites.
  • The overall technical responsibility of all websites (including such as all kindergarden and campaign websites) as also the intranet portal.
  • Training of advanced and general users in the specific used CMS (particularly Sitecore)
  • Teaching website contributers how to write on the web to different kinds of audiences, edit and optimize pictures and graphic elements, etc.
  • Advanced guidance to social media: Facebook (for example 'Facebook Pages'), Twitter
  • Educational training in use of computer software, smart phones and apps, etc.

    In the beginning of year 2013 I co-founded the sports club "Næstved Nord Idrætsforening" (short name: Næstved Nord IF/NNIF).

    I was elected as vice-chairman for the club's board at the founding meeting.

    I'm responsible for Næstved Nord IF's activities on social media and have besides that also developed the clubs homepage, www.nnif.dk, on my own. I've written all articles on www.nnif.dk too and made the website ready for mobile and tablet visitors too.

    OldTrafford.dk is an online volunteer-driven Danish and unoffical Manchester United portal, which I am co-founder of. The website has grown since it was established in 2003 and is the most visited in the Nordic region of Europe in the website's category with over 69,000 unique visitors, 1.2 millions hits every month and OldTrafford.dk has over 28,000 visits per day on busy days (september, 2013).

    XHW.dk and Xtreme-Hardware.dk were two Danish websites related to computer technology and hardware - which later on were combined.

    I contributed to Xtreme-Hardware.dk - and later known as XHW.dk - with:

  • Reviews of computer hardware
  • Proofreading of other writers articles

    • The websites also had a debate board, besides news, deeper researched articles and reviews of computer hardware.

    The two websites helped computer users with different levels of experience and know-how about computer technology as the websites target group.
