The role occasionally involves physically demanding tasks, both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, you should be comfortable taking initiative and getting hands-on when needed.
What we offer
You will join the Wood and Biomaterials Centre, which offers expert knowledge of wood and other bio-based materials and products. We strive to be the construction industry's preferred supplier in EU within for accredited tests - an ambition supported by our advanced laboratories and our application-oriented research carried out in close collaboration with companies and knowledge centres both in and outside Denmark.
As a student assistant, you will:
- Be challenged professionally and learn how research and testing are carried out in practice
- Contribute to work that makes a real difference for the durability, safety and sustainability of wood products
- Have room to develop, try out new tasks, and influence how you solve your work assignments
- Work in an environment characterised by strong professional expertise, independence and collaboration.
The weekly hours are approx. 7.5-10 hours, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods or holidays. We are, of course, flexible around examination periods and study commitments. The job is based at the Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup, with buses to the door and Høje Taastrup Station nearby.
