unemployment insurance fund

Students skimp on insurance
Students are gambling with insurance, putting their personal finances at risk in the process. Learn how this choice could cost you more than you think.

Students – remember unemployment insurance fund!
If you’ve been a member of an unemployment insurance fund for at least 12 months when you graduate, you will receive a month’s worth of unemployment benefits as a recent graduate. If you become a member 2 weeks after you graduate at the latest, you will still be able to receive unemployment benefits, but not for the first month.
